Isn’t that fabulous that not only have they restored the mill, but have actually planted a field – a field – in Brixton! – with wheat and barley. I grew up in Balham, not far from Brixton, and remember terrorising old ladies by ‘doing-good’ with my Baptist youth club group in the streets of Brixton. Never would I have dreamt that there had been a mill there.
